My research project – the Robotarium – was recently featured on Georgia Tech’s College of Engineering website. On the front page that is. Georgia Tech calls it the Robot Zoo. Check out the main article here and get the inside scoop with a number of professional photos of the robots and the testbed here. Essentially, the Robotarium aims at democratizing robotics and make robots accessible to everybody. To accomplish that, I have designed miniature robots (the GRITSBot) and a remotely accessible arena in which these robots live and work. Researchers and students can access them remotely via the internet and test their algorithms on actual robotic hardware. For more details check out the article on the GRITSLab’s website.
